Overview
Jessica completed her B.A. Honours in Criminology and Criminal Justice with a Concentration in Psychology at Carleton University, followed by her JD at Queen’s University.
She completed her articles at LMS Lawyers LLP, where she continues to work. During her articles, Jessica gained comprehensive experience across various areas of law in this full-service firm, and she continues to maintain a multi-disciplinary practice. She has a passion for litigation and enjoys being in the courtroom, but she always aims to settle matters outside of court for the benefit of her clients whenever possible.
Prior to law school, Jessica spent a year as an institutional parole officer with Correctional Services Canada and nearly a decade in customer service roles, giving her a unique ability to handle challenging conversations and high-stress situations with empathy and respect.
Jessica has a strong ability to work with individuals in difficult situations, always treating everyone with kindness and respect. She is dedicated to supporting people through their challenges, no matter what they are facing.
Outside of work, Jessica’s life is devoted to her family, including her husband, four young sons, and their rottweiler-husky, Rufus.
