Overview
Sarah completed her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Sociology at the University of Manitoba. Sarah then went on to complete her Juris Doctor at the University of Ottawa, with an option (concentration) in Health Law. Sarah also completed her articling year from 2024 to 2025 with LMS Lawyers. During her articles, she gained extensive experience in all areas of law but chose to narrow her practice area to her passion for civil litigation and family law.
Sarah enjoys all aspects of litigation and has a particular interest in health law. During law school, Sarah participated in many clinics and volunteer positions, mostly centered around disability law and health-related legal policy. She volunteered with Amethyst Women’s Addiction Centre, where she was awarded the CJ Wagner Access to Justice Award. She has also completed placements with Community Legal Services of Ottawa, The Ottawa Mission, and the Canadian Health Coalition.
