Overview
Lydia enjoys helping her clients achieve a just outcome in their family matter. She holds herself to a high standard to get results for her clients efficiently and skillfully. She also prides herself on being a good listener for her clients, taking care to get to know their objectives, and communicating regularly on the progress of their file. She is thorough in her legal analysis and keeps herself up to date on statutory changes and developing case law.
She has appeared at different levels of court and has experience representing clients with respect to a broad range of issues, including the division of property, spousal support, decision-making responsibility, parenting time, and child support. Lydia has negotiated settlements, attended binding judicial dispute resolution and other alternative dispute resolution processes, and ran trials. She also has experience negotiating and preparing marriage, cohabitation, and separation agreements.
When she is not in the office, Lydia enjoys travelling, bicycling, literature, and films.
