Michael Blanchard

Mike is an associate lawyer at Langevin Morris Smith. He practices primarily in the areas of criminal, labour, employment, and family law.

Mike graduated from the common law program at the University of Ottawa and was called to the bar in Ontario in June 2016. Prior to attending law school Mike studied history at Cape Breton University and achieved a Bachelor of Arts degree and later a Master of Arts degree in history at the University of New Brunswick.

Mike joined Langevin Morris Smith after articling in Toronto at one of Canada’s leading labour and employment firms. During his last year in law school, Mike spent a semester working for the Public Service Labour Relations Board in Ottawa. Previous to that, Mike worked for a national organization representing Canada’s building trades, as well as with one of Canada’s national public-sector unions.

In his spare time Mike tries to be optimistic that the Habs will get their next Stanley Cup.
